Annual Appeal
Dear Friends,
Community Access to the Arts’ 20th anniversary year has begun!
Our founding idea was simple, and yet boundless: to honor and celebrate every human being for their abilities and creativity, and to engage our community in the pleasure and joy of this process. In 20 years we have created a mosaic of acceptance, celebration, compassion and creativity – with you as our essential partner.
Many of our CATA artists have been with us since 1993; we are proud to be part of their development as artists and we welcome new faces in our award-winning work. In 20 years CATA reached over 7,500 people with disabilities in over 15,000 classes in the visual and performing arts. And thousands of people have seen our artists in action!
Our community – this means you – has made this growth possible. We thrive thanks to your support. Our work creates magnificent art, promotes positive human connections, and lays the groundwork for social change.
Here’s to 20 more years! Please give generously. With your support, we will continue to shine a light on the artistry of people with disabilities. Everyone can be and is a part of art!
With deep appreciation,
Sandra Newman
